FOLLOW UP ON PENDING ISSUES WITH MINISTRY OF DEFENCE : DISABILITY PENSION, OROP & 7TH CPC

After speaking to the JS (ESW) today, we feel confident that our issues though slightly delayed are on track and orders  likely to be issued shortly.

The Judicial Commission Recommendations contained the issue of Actual Service rendered instead of full service for those invalided out as per 1972 letter and the working of Service element of Lts, Capts, Majors based on notional pay are now in the final stages before approval.

As regards 7CPC recommendations, the Draft Government letter is awaited besides clearance of some aspect in regards old age pay etc. The composite orders will include the issue of broad banding as recommended by 7 CPC besides other disability entitlements based on percentage system.

  1. Apart from the good News about the Casuality Pensions, the point that the Judicial Commission Recommendations are being acted upon is definitely hopeful News for the veterans.

  2. You have not covered the issue of MSP to JCOs. Any chance of Govt accepting the recommended increase or the issue has gone to deaf ears?

  4. This issue of more msp for jcos is from the heart of our three chiefs.moreover a co moves in regt as big tiger when he takes with him his subedar major and out.definately will bring good results. Sub sucha singh

    What about other rank who suffer a lot under inhospitable region. No care taker for them to recommend equal MSP, disability pension and hardship allowances, this colonel sahib is much worried about his category not his subordinates, our services are like toilet tissue after job is over we would be thrown into dustbin

  9. What are the recommendations of justice Reddy committee report? Where is the report? why these much deley for implementation of pending issues.Is it due to Babus playing bad game
