Children Education Allowance for all PBOR Ex-servicemen (not for JCOs) by MoD

MoD introduced a financial assistance to all PBOR ex-servicemen upto the rank of HAVILDAR (not for JCOs) for Army, Navy & Air Force to educate their children as an allowance of Rs.1,000/- per month per child (restricted for two children only) upto the class of 12 and for professional studies Rs.1,500/- per month. Such ex-servicemen will get Rs.12,000/- per year for one child and Rs.24,000/- for two children being Children Education Allowance. To get this allowance, the specified application form should be reached to MoD through District Sainik Seva Board or Directly.

Application forms are available at District Sainik Seva Board. The application form should be supported with the attested copies of child’s last year mark list, certificate from the school, Discharge Book, PPO, Pass Book of Pension Account. For further details please contact to the nearest District Sainik Seva Board in any state. Please give wide publicity.

    I am ex sgt p chakravorty.I visited zila sainik board at lucknow but they told me that this allowance is not for air force personnel

    Sir , Please post MOD policy letter no and extract copy on Children Education Allowance for all PBOR Ex-servicemen (not for JCOs) by MoD for further put uo to District Sainik Seva Board as they are saying that no such policies exists.

    Dear Blogger, This seems to be a romur. Sainik Board says that they does not have any kind of authority to process the application. Please advice the ex-servicemen with MOD letter & application format. Thanks & regards

    Why license is required to purchase a car? Can't one appoint a driver and use the car? eg. If somebody is so handicapped that he can't drive, what should he do then?

      I am an x-servicemen.. My seconda child i.e.,my daughter is doing BCA(professional course).. We have got only 3000 rupees from soldier board....
      How can i get our whole scholarship money.

    i got a whatsup msg on this issue. yesterday i happen to pass by ZSB jalandhar and i inquired about th same. They had the circular recvd in Apr 15. i didn,t note the cicular number thinking it will be available on line. but now i m searching and till now not found. but it is there.

    Sir, Iam an ex service man need to apply for my child education allowance. Can I get application forms for that in online.zilla saint board is the only place we get it this application. Why not provide this through online.

    i am santoshkumar. from karnataka(hydarbad karnataka) my father is ex-servicemen. now i am complited 12th std with kea CET for medical seat so.......
    how many seats are there in medical under hydaradaba-karnataka.
    or how much % of reseravation in medical per collage under hydarabada-karnataka(HK)...

    9 medical collages are there in HK...
    now i can apply ex-defence special categary seat so kindy reply me PLEASE REPLY ME SIR
