Note: -
1. Table has been made using real data available and best across three Services.
2. Stepping up has been done in cases where the pension for greater length of service in a rank is lower than the lesser length of service in the same rank.
3. Stepping up has also been done in cases where the pension in senior rank is lower than a junior rank for the same length of service.
4. In cases where real data is not available, the date of next rank for same length of service has been used reducing the pension by half the difference in Grade Pays.
5. The Enhanced Ordinary Family Pension will be equivalent of the re-fixed retiring pension. Special Family Pension will be 120% of the re-fixed retiring pension and Liberalised Family Pension will be 200% of the re-fixed retiring pension.

Note:
1. Table has been made using real date available and best across three Services.
2. For Majors, pension has been fixed based on the pension of higher rank
3. For Lts and Capts, pension is based on VI CPC pay fixation.
4. MSP has been granted notionally to Major Generals and above to grant higher pension vis-à-vis Brigadiers.
5. The Enhanced Ordinary Family Pension will be equivalent of the re-fixed retiring pension. Special Family Pension will be 120% of the re-fixed retiring pension and Liberalised Family Pension will be 200% of the re-fixed retiring pension.
6. For lower disability less than 100%, the above figures will be reduced as applicable.

Lt having 10 years'service is getting more than that of a JCO having 20 years'service. How come justice is done in this respect.
ReplyDeleteYes, above said comments are absolutely correct. I do not want to comment on the pay scale of the serving personnel but the pensioners that too veteran pensioners should have been considered to be treated in a different mode and angle. Mind you, all these pensioners are veterans and deserve to be treated with little compassion and humanity !!!!!
DeleteThis may be the fake table ,one sweeper and one skilled diploma holder/Graduate technician of same rank and length of service are on same platform. Is it not a Joke?
ReplyDeleteI Vouche you for ur remarks. To be correctly saying, where are different groups of sevice personnel in the table?
DeleteDeafenitely I vouch for you. The different groups of armed forces grouo X - Diploma stream, GP- x, etc .... have been missing in the table. So , Better to have it removed , so that none are mislead.
DeleteIn Defence services welfare of only officers is looked after ie only 3 percent of the total strength . 97 percent strength is at the mercy of God. JCOs serving over 30 years so called Gazetted Officer are called pbor and paid at par with class 3. What a joke.
ReplyDeleteWe are in the hand of Almighty!
ReplyDeleteThe projected OROP table shows only pension against service and rank.It is not known what is the pension will be on accordance with the relevant group of the pensioner. Can we took this table is only reflecting X group pensioners.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletehope with the background of PBORS,, officers has been taken maximum advantage ????
ReplyDeleteNow that the OROP is approved by the BJP Government with base year 2013, can this table be undated? Kindly do it as we will get an idea on our dues when the final official tables come out.
ReplyDeleteA gap of pension between Sub /Sub Maj and Hony Lt/Capt in projected table is justifiable. Presently, pension gap is very high among-st these ranks.
ReplyDeleteALSO want to know for widows will the family pension be as given in the table?
ReplyDeleteA Gap between Captain and Honorary Captain may not be acceptable. Previously the PENSION of commissioned & Honorary commissioned was the EQUAL. All Rank should JUSTICE.
ReplyDeleteLook at the alarming difference between the pay scale of a Subedar Major who has rendered 40 years of unblemished service in the army not even having the pay of a just joined Lt. This can happen only in our country. A Sub Major's pay should be at least near or equal to the pay of a Major and the PBORs pay also be hiked accordingly to eke out a decent living, In the civil and in PSU banks the pay difference is almost minimal.
ReplyDeleteI am an ex. Cpl. from the Airforce was released after 12years of combat service later transfered to reserve force from 1966 and was discharged from service on 1969 with pension on complition of 15 years of service- during reserve period I was given pension - Presently I am drawing a pension of Rs. 3500+DA - Kindly let me know whether I will be eligible for OROP as I complited 15 years of service - Ex.Cpl. K.R.Subramanian Air Force
ReplyDeleteA good site worthy to read. Please post your valuable comments there also.

Sir, I am an ex-serviceman, having been served for 24 years in group Y, rank Havildar, honoured as Hony Nbsub, discharged on 30 Nov 1997.Presently I am drawing pension Rs 7601+DA as applicable.I would like to know that whether I am entitled to get the basic pension of Nb Sub being honoured to the rank of Nb Sub in OROP
ReplyDeleteIn the above table for Officers, the projected pension for a Major with 20 years service is Rs 31790 while the pension for this officer , as per the latest OROP table of the government is Rs 10,000 less than the projected pension of Rs 31790. This is despite the fact that IESM had repeatedly projected this point of the pension of Majors with 20 and more years with the government. I come under this category. So what should we do ? I don"t know if IESM has taken up this point with the government. Should we take this issue to the court ? Please advise.
