సైనిక సంక్షేమ కార్యాలయం తెలంగాణా ప్రభుత్వం : మాజీ సైనికుల వివరాల నమోదు మరియు ఆధునీకరణ 

   మాజీ సైనికులు, వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యుల సంక్షేమము కొరకు సైనిక సంక్షేమ కార్యాలయం   తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాటు చేయబడినది.  సైనికోద్యోగులు  ఆర్మీ, నేవీ,  మరియు ఎయిర్ ఫోర్సు  నుండి రిటైర్  అయిన  వెంటనే  సంబందిత పత్రాల తో  సైనిక సంక్షేమ శాఖ  ను సంప్రదించిన తరువాత మాజీ సైనికుల పేర్లు నమోదు చేసుకుని ఐడెంటిటీ  కార్డు ఇస్తారు. 

ఈ మధ్య కాలము లో   గుర్తించినది ఏమనగా  కొంత మంది  మాజీ సైనికులు ఇంత వరకు తమ పేర్లను తమ జిల్లా   సైనిక సంక్షేమ కార్యాలయము లో నమోదు చేసుకోలేదు. అందువల్ల  కేంద్ర  మరియు రాష్ట్ర  ప్రభుత్వము ఇచ్చే ప్రయోజనాలు  మరియు రాయితీలు మాజీ సైనికులకు చేరటము లేదని  గమనించటమైనది. ఆర్హత  కలిగిన మాజీ సైనికులు  ప్రయోజనాలు పొందాలి అనేది మా ముఖ్య సంకల్పము. అందుకు ప్రతీ మాజీ సైనికుడు  జిల్లా సైనిక సంక్షేమ  కార్యాలయము లో పేర్లు  నమోదు చేసుకుని ఆధునీకరణ  (అప్డేట్) చేసుకోవాలి.  

            చాలా మంది మాజీ సైనికులు చిన్న వయసులో త్రివిధ దళాల నుండి పదవీ విరమణ చేసి బయటకువస్తారు.    సర్వీసులో ఉండగా లేక పదవీ విరమణ తరువాత  వివాహం చేసుకుంటారు. కానీ వారి   కుటుంబ సభ్యుల  వివరాలు  ఆ సంబందిత రికార్డ్స్ లో నమోదు చేయించుకోవటము లేదు. దీని వలన, దురదృష్టవశాత్తు మాజీ సైనికుడు   మరణించిన  యడల  మాజీ సైనికుని వితంతువు కు పెన్షన్ మంజూరీ కి  చాల జాప్యం జరుగుతుంది.  

కొంతమంది మాజీ సైనికులు   సర్వీసు కాలం లో లేక పదవీ విరమణ చేసిన తరువాత పుట్టిన పిల్లల పేర్లను నమోదు చేయకపోవటం వలన  వారికి రావలిసిన విద్యా రిజర్వేషన్  మరియు  స్కాలర్షిప్ లను కోల్పోతున్నారు. మరి కొంతమందికి నమోదు చేసుకున్నపేరు  ఆధార్ కార్డు లేక పాన్ కార్డు లో బ్యాంకు ఎకౌంటు లో ఊన్న పేరు తో వ్యత్యాసం ఉండటము వలన ఆర్ధిక ప్రయోజనాలు  అందించటములో జాప్యం జరుగుతున్నది.

   అన్నింటి కంటే ముఖ్యముగా   గమనించిన విషయం   ఏమిటంటే మాజీ సైనికులు పదవీ విరమణ ముందు బ్యాంకు లో ఒక సింగిల్ ఎకౌంటు మరియు ఒక జాయింట్ అకౌంట్తెరుస్తారు. కాని వారి పెన్షన్ సింగల్ ఎకౌంటు లో వచ్చుచున్నది. దీని వలన మాజీ సైనికుల మరణానంతరం  ఆ బ్యాంకు ఎకౌంటు లో  వితంతువు కు పెన్షన్ లభించటం కొరకు మరల  మిలిటరీ రికార్డ్స్ ఆఫీస్ లకు రాసి  వారి పెన్షన్ తెప్పెంచుటకు కనీసం 6 నెలల నుంచి సంవత్సరం వరకు సమయము పడుతుంది. కావున  మాజీ సైనికులు అందరు  వారు పెన్షన్ పొందుతున్నటువంటి బ్యాంకు ఎకౌంటు ను తమ  భార్య పేరు తో  జాయింట్  ఎకౌంటు గా మార్పించు కోవాలి అని కోరుచున్నాము.  తమరి భార్య పెన్షన్  పేమెంట్  ఆర్డర్  లో ఊన్న పేరు తో మాత్రమే బ్యాంకు ఎకౌంటు  లో జాయింట్ గా నమోదు చేసుకోగలరు. 

ఫైన తెలియ చేసిన కారణాల దృష్ట్యా సైనిక సంక్షేమ శాఖ తెలంగాణా ప్రభుత్వం వారు  ప్రతి జిల్లా లో   అవగాహనా సదస్సులుకూడా ఏర్పాటు చేసి  మాజీ సైనికులకు ఐడెంటిటీ కార్డు  మరియు వివిధ రకముల  ప్రయోజనాలు తెలియజేయచున్నారు.  అంతే కాకుండా  పెన్షన్ సంబందిత సమస్యలు తీర్చుటకు  స్టేట్ బ్యాంకు అఫ్ ఇండియా, స్టేట్  బ్యాంకు అఫ్ హైదరాబాద్ మరియు ఇతర బ్యాంకు లతో కలిసి పెన్షన్ అదాలత్ ఏర్పాటు చేసి పెన్షన్ ప్రాబ్లెమ్స్ ని  తీరుస్తున్నారు.  

 ఎవరైనా   మాజీ సైనికులు లేక వారి వితంతువు లు  గతం లో  రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ చేయించుకుని   ఐడెంటిటీ కార్డు  పోంది వున్నారో  వారు కూడా  వారివారి   జిల్లా  సైనిక సంక్షేమ  అధికారి ని  కలిసి క్రింది  తెలిపిన పత్రాల ను అందచేసి తమ దస్తావేజులను ఆధునీకరణ చేసుకోగలరు అని కోరుచున్నాము. ఈ దస్తావేజులు పోస్ట్  ద్వారా కూడా పంపవచ్చును.   

ఎ) డిశ్చార్జ్ సర్టిఫికేట్/ సర్వీస్  సర్టిఫికేట్

బి) పెన్షన్ పేమెంట్ ఆర్డర్

సి) ఆదార్ కార్డు

డి)  కాన్సిల్ద్ చెక్ లేక  బ్యాంకు పాస్ పుస్తకం  ఫస్ట్ పేజి

ఇ) పాస్ పోర్ట్ సైజు ఫోటోగ్రాఫ్స్ (04) 

మాజీ సైనికులు ఒక ఈమెయిలు  ఎకౌంటు ఓపెన్    చేసి  తమ ఈమెయిలు  ఎకౌంటు పేరు అండ్ మొబైల్ నెంబర్ వారి  జిల్లా సైనిక సంక్షేమ  కార్యాలయం   కు అందించ గలరు.   దీని ద్వార వారికి అందే రా యితీల గురించి వారికి ఎప్పుడుదప్పుడు ఈ మెయిలు లేక ఎస్ ఎం ఎస్  ద్వారా తెలియజేయబడును.

మాజీ సైనికులందరూ 31 మార్చ్ 2017 వరకు తమ దస్తా వేజులు పంపి ఆధునీకరణ చేయించు కోగలరు అని విజ్ఞప్తి చేస్తున్నాము.

REGISTRATION WITH SAINIK WELFARE DEPARTMENT AND GET THEIR DOCUMENTS UPDATED AND COMPUTERISATED

   The Sainik Welfare Department, Telangana  looks after the welfare of Ex-Servicemen and their dependents. The Ex-Servicemen, i.e the retired personnel from Army, Navy and Air Force are provided with an Identity card by Sainik Welfare Department immediately after retirement on production of their retirement documents.

    It has come to the notice of Sainik Welfare Department, Govt of Telangana that some Ex-Servicemen are still not registered or are not updated their documents with the Sainik Welfare Department due to which the benefits due from State and Central Government are not reaching them.

   

    Most of the Ex-Servicemen retire young and the names of their wife and children are not updated in the documents at the time of retirement due to which their widows have to do extensive documentation after the death of Ex-Servicemen to get family pension.  Similarly, the names of children are also not updated due to which it becomes difficult to provide reservation in education and scholarships.  It is also seen that there are discrepancies such as spelling mistakes in the names of the wife and children due to which they are facing severe hardship at the time of sanctioning family pension and other benefits. Similarly their names are not matching with Aadhar card or PAN card due to which their pension claims are getting delayed.

The Ex-Servicemen open one Single account and one Joint Account in Bank at the time of retirement.  A large number of cases have come to notice where the Pension accounts of Ex-Servicemen are single accounts and the same account number is mentioned in Pension Payment Order.  The Joint account becomes inoperative after six months or so due to which the widows do not get their pension immediately after the death of the Ex-Servicemen. 

The ageing and ailing widows have to do extensive documentation after the death of the Ex-Servicemen and their pension gets delayed for a number months and at times even years. The Office of Director Sainik Welfare and Zilla Sainik Welfare Offices have resolved a number of such cases in the last 2 years.  The Director Sainik Welfare has also taken up the issue with Army HQs and they have issued orders to all Army units.  

All ex-servicemen are requested to get their Single Pension accounts converted into Joint accounts as per the name of the wife in Pension Payment Order.

Sainik Welfare Department has been conducting a number of Camps all over the State educating the Ex-Servicemen and their dependents on the above aspects.  Sainik Welfare Department has also conducted Pension Adalat to resolve the pension related grievances with banks such as State bank of India and State Bank of Hyderabad. Action in hand to conduct similar Pension Adalat with other hands.

All the Ex-Servicemen  and widows of Ex-servicemen who have not registered themselves with Sainik Welfare Department are requested to visit the office of their Regional/Zilla Sainik Welfare offices and get themselves registered by providing one copy each of the following documents alongwith original for verification:

a)  Discharge Book /Service Particulars.         

b)  Pension Payment Order (Only for Pensioners).

c)   Aadhar card

d)  Cancelled Cheque or First  page of the Bank pass book.

e)  Passport size Photograph(04)

Those Ex-Servicemen  or widow  who have registered  earlier but not provided these documents are also requested to provide these documents so that their records are updated.   They can also send the documents by post to their Zilla Sainik Welfare Office or to the Director, sainik Welfare, Sainik Aramghar Complex, Near Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda, Hyderabad.

All Ex-servicemen are also requested to open an email account and submit their email ID and Mobile number to the Zilla Sainik Welfare Department so that all important information  may be sent to these though mail and SMS.

Director Sainik Welfare, Hyderabad has now computerised the records of Ex-Servicemen so that benefits can be provided efficiently& by faster means.  

The ESM can now register online by visiting www.telanganasainik.org They can also apply for grants applicable to them online.

I request the Cooperation of all Ex-Servicemen and their dependents in updating their records so that the benefits applicable to them may be provided to them faster and in an efficient manner.

They can visit the Office of Regional/Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer on any working between 10.30 AM and 5 P.M. and submit their documents for updation or registration.  All old case will be entertained till 31 March 2017.
