    3. Why discrimination for PBOR eg Officer can by car in 3 yrs, JCO can by in 5 yrs than why PBOR should be entitled once in life time. Its highly unnjustified. Many PBORs are more rich n well settled in life still your authorities consodering us as poor and morally ill.

  5. If PBOR purchase an autorickhaw (three wheeler) u will have to submit less documents.......OR driving a car unimaginable for officer community, I am using my car after retirement from IAF. when I go to CSD find almost 50 percent EXSM drive their own car........ we will have to shed all those ego which British people injected into Armed Forces, They Considered JCO's as Viceroy commissioned officers, then it took the title of Junior Commissioned Officers, how many are treated like a JCO in service, rather how many JCO's are qualified to be a Jr. Commissioned Officer ..

We can also opt for the other pattern like Enlisted soldiers and officers that is all...

  7. why PBOR are restricted to 1300CC ,once it is already restricted to once in lifetime.. Is there any logic behind this rule?

    ReplyDelete
  8. PBORs donot have a longer list its just elaborated here the text required and written in the indent form signed by CO
As far as financial capacity is concerned everyone forgets that there was once no car issued from csd because of fund allocation dedicated to purchase for cars was much lower than itwas required when all PBORs' were made entitled to buy four wheeled vehicles
The restriction on cubic capacity (CC) has been put to commensurate with the paying capacity of the individual and cost ofmthe vehicle. CSD facility is for PAY EARNED FROM ARMED FORCES and not for balck money earned from selling land flats and plots, so question of some PBORs' being richer will never be considered as rules are made ro ensure that the facility remains for the welfare of the men woking in armed forces and not minting money sitting in metros and close to home towns. If the paying capacity is high then why goto csd for few thousands and go through so much paper work. Just goto open market and buy a higher cc vehicle. If one has the money why complain.
Its because of this mentality and such people the larger more straight forward population suffers. An officer or a JCO or a PBOR in general will not buy an SUV and will restrict to 1500 cc or below (there are bound to be exceptions) and the periodicity communsurariong with FAUJI PAY will not allow a person to buy a vehicle with in less than 3 years. Ofcourse this wont sound good to someone who will want to give canteen facility to a relative.

Things will be better if these oh so rich and financially sound members of armed forces get diciplined and donot distribute their facilities to civilians to flaunt shamelessly

As any civilian or a govt official helped an armed forces guy?

    1. Could you help memebers with your details... I do agree with you.. Don't you think that JCO or PBOR have much knowledge or asset with them...Think.. What kind of treatment was given to Mr Anna Hajare when he was in Forces and Now he has a National Face so the Top brasses are running behind him,,,, Why there is discrimination when it comes to ALL.

    2. What if someone {take your self} become disabled due to Military service and boarded out . If he should not be able to avail canteen facility . And how you can say every armed forced guy distribute there facility .

  9. PBORs must not be restricted with minimum 15 Years of colors service as Naval Personnel are having initial bond of 15 years only. Myself is about to retire in two years but cud not purchase a car for my family and parents due to period of service less then 15 years wheras i can cater a car in my present salary of Rs 40000/-+ . No matters what cubic bt at least policy makers should reconsider the min service to 10 years instead of 15 years for PBORs of Tri Services.

    1. 21. Most of the states don't have the tie up with the dealers, so the vehicles are brought from outside state, so how about the road tax and registration cost? Do we have to redo this twice? Once from the state from where the vehicle was brought and to where the vehicle will be driven? I know the In service men doesn't have to bother about it, but what is the rule for Ex-Service men.

  23. LET US KNOW THAT 74% OF THE TOTAL EARNING OF THE CSD IS BECAUSE OF THE PBORS ONLY. THE OFFICERS AND THE JCOS TOGETHER ARE JUST MERELY CONTRIBUTING 24%. REST OF THE 2% REMAINS ON ROTATIONS. AUTHORITIES MUST OPEN UP THE HANDS OF PBORS AND MAKE THEM CAPABLE FOR MORE PURCHASES. MORE THE INCOME MORE THE COMFORT FOR ALL.

  35. I am working as JCO. I am intended to purchase Toyota Innova from CSD. The new guidelines implemented in Jul 15 restricts me from purchase of vehicle above 2000 cc. It says off can by cars up to 3000 cc with a periodicity of 4 yrs. All Hon commissioned Off can purchase cars up to 2500 CC with periodicity of 7 Yrs. Bur All JCO/OR can purchase vehicle up 2000 cc once in service and once after retirement, thaT TOO AFTER A GAP OF 10 YRS. i DON'T KNOW WHO MADE THIS STUPID RULES. Atleast personal with financial ability to buy cars of his choice shuld be allowed to do the same. Further, periodicity and Ceiling of cc should be removed. How can some one explain the rule as the soldier with family consisting of parents, wife AND CHILDEREN CANNONT BE ALLOWED TO BUY A CARD OF (7 SEATER) FRON CSD. THAT TOO IT HAS MONETAR5 LAKH.PLS ADVICE

  45. If there is no discrimination in tax rates as per tax slabs fixed by the income tax than why Other Ranks are not entitled to buy car after retirement every after 4 years. Those who are getting higher entitlements from CSD, are they paying higher tax as per some other type of higher tax slabs? Taxes are levied as per income and not as per category i.e., Officers, JCOs and ORs. Jaago Grahak Jaago against this arbitrary, discriminating treatment. Dont forget that our entitlements come form the Central Govt funds (taxes).

  54. We Indian soldiers are not independent. Officers don't want to we educate. They getting two years study leave with all pay and allowances. Soldiers doesn't get single day leave for study. Now still officer's are as British and soldiers are Slave. Every Officer is having two Sahayak one for himself and another for his family. Where it has written or rule of Sahayak duty. In whole service I didn't see that law. This true real fact. Speak everyone against injustice fact.
