PM Narendra Modi will meet the three service chiefs (Army, Navy, Air Force) tomorrow and review the security situation of the country.
According to reports, PM Modi will take stock of the situation across the border and also listen to the requirements of the Forces.
Sources told TIMES NOW that only PM Modi, the three service chiefs and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will be present in the meeting.
Apart from reviewing the security situation, PM Modi is likely to address the concerns/grievances of the Forces.
Such meetings with national security matters should be a regular feature.
ReplyDeleteMeeting has the NSA,now the de-facto CDS. The Service Chiefs are merely present to get their orders in the presence of PM.
ReplyDeleteIt is heartening to note that out PM has felt the necessity to discuss natonal security matters.I am also of the opinion such meetings are the requirements the day.
ReplyDeleteThis is true and real way to bring and create confidence into chief of defence forces. This practice must be on regular basis.
ReplyDeleteAll three chiefs should always have direct access to the Defence Min and PM. This will build very strong confidence in the defence forces and bring the morale up and highest motivation too.
ReplyDeleteVery appreciated step by honourable PM meeting the three chiefs privately. Respected PM sir arrange such private meetings very often on fixed schedule.
ReplyDeleteMy dear respected PM, Such meetings/Conferences must be regularly held and without media coverings. Do your good self still require media advertisements about Military functions to be in news and alert enemies about your actions in South Block.
