Subject: Non payment of OROP PensionDear Mr Banker,
I am a retired Lt Col from Army. I'm drawing my pension from your Washi Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra branch. The revised pension was to be credited on 29 Feb 2016. It's not yet been paid. Banks like Vijaya Bank, Punjab Sindh bank and BOI have paid even before 29th Feb. Can you please tell me why wasn't it done by Central Bank of India.
Why are the military pensioners being treated like this. Aren't you being paid each transaction ?
Please let me have the email ID and mobile phone number of your CMD. I am located in mumbai, would like to even meet him and give him a piece of our mind.
I expect a prompt reply from you.With warm Regards,Lt Col RaghavendrumMOB.NUMBER..............Ghatkopar Mumbai

The SBH too is not prompt in this respect. The GOI is responsible in palming off this task on to the PSU Bank with no clear guide lines.
ReplyDeleteCENTRAL BANK OF INDIA IN GENERAL AND CHENNAI ZONE IN PARTICULAR VERY SLOW IN IMPLEMENTING ANY PENSIONERY BENEFIT CIRCULARS. MANY OTHER BANKER CENTRALLY AT LEAST IN NODAL LEVEL SET UP PENSION OFFICE WHERE IN ALL PROBLEM OF PENSIONERS SETTLED IN ONE PLACE.IN CENTRAL BANK PENSION IS CENTRALISED BUT NOT CENTRALISED.STILL BRANCHES ONLY HOLDING PENSION DOCUMENT. ALL PENSION RELATED PEOBLEMS OF PENSIONER TO BE WORKED AT BRANCHES ONLY. That BRANCH WILL BE ONE PLACE.THAT WORKING/ARREARS HAS TO BE AUTHORISED BY NODAL BRANCH.THAT WILL BE SOME OTHER PLACE. When many other bankers automatically follow the circulars and carry out implementation accordingly, CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA NEVER CARES the disbursements of any arrears even after frequent approach.Neither do they understand the circular nor ready to show some interest on it. At NODEL BRANCH LEVEL ALL PENSION CAN BE HANDLED BY STAFF TRAINED IN PENSION MATTERS AS DONE BY OTHER BANKS. THE DICTUM OF CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA IS QUOTE. NEITHER WE INNOVATE ANY BETTER PROCEDURE NOR WE DO FOLLOW OTHERS WHO DOES WISE UNQUOTE.FOR CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA THE PENSIONERS ARE PEOBLEMATIC AND HEADACHE TO THEM. THEY GIVE LITTLE CARE TO ONLY FEW PENSIONERS WHO ARE IN THE NATURE OF COMPLAINT TO HIGHER AUTHORITIES. WILL THE LT COL TAKE UP THE ISSUE TO THE MD OF CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA.
ReplyDeleteBanker has transferred orop arrears to Islamic state be ready for beheading or join isis.
DeleteIt is my earnest request to the Lt Col sahib that action which he is going to take to ATTENTION OF CMD OF CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA SHOULD REMAIN PREACH OF LESSON TO LETHARGIC OFFICIALS INCLUDING THE CPPC OF THE BANK AND THEY SHOULD REMAIN THE FIRST BANK TO PAY THE DUES OF PENSIONERS.
ReplyDeletePlease don't remain by publishing this. It should reach out every one particularly LT COL SAHIB WHO IS GOING TO BE IN FORE RUNNER. Central Bank need to take parade of their officials. NO BODY WORKS IN CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA BUT.EVERYBODY GETS THEIR SALARY. That is true. I am totally pinched. What more funny the young officers good for nothing remain as MANAGERS. Shame shame. BETTER MEND THEIR SHOE.
ReplyDeleteDear blogger, it appears LT COL also considered to be tiny creature before the bank.because being the reason CENTRAL BANK IS MIGHTY IN MUSCLE BUT NOT IN KNOWLEDGE.TILL DATE NO HURRY to the banker FOR OROP. LT COL E MAIL ID NOT KNOWN. What I desire WAR WITH CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA LIKELY TO BE toughMORE THAN WAR WITH NEIGHBOURHOOD countries. Lt Col sahib should take it serious and should show our might.
ReplyDeleteKnowledge is more important than the muscle. Knowledge only we require. NOT KUNDAS. We had muscles and have muscles more than terrorist because we handled our might in addition to ammunition to oppose the terror to the Nation. When other bankers interestingly and enthusiastically working out and paying the dues as per strict information of GOVT what happened to this. YOU AND I BECOME MOSQUITOES BEFORE GOVT OF INDIA WHO HAS GIVEN STRICT INSTRUCTIONS TO IMPLEMENT SPEEDILY. And IT APPEARS YOU HAVE THREATENED THE BLOGGER. Lt Col sahib will show his might and his JAWANS MIGHT BUT NOT YOURS.
DeleteI think bank has no money to pay orop arrears better transfer your a/c to other banks or join Islamic state for better pension.
DeleteUntil today, the PNB has neither paid the OROP arrears nor revised the pension inspite of approaching them personally. There are quite a few Ex-Servicemen working in this bank and they are mute spectators of this delay tactics without voicing the concern of exservicemen. CDAP also to be equally blamed for not enforcing and seeking completion action. Pathetic.

Dear blogger. Will you please PUBLISH email id or phone number of THE LT COLJE. The question is WHETHER CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA IS ALIVE TO GIVE OROP, IT IS ALMOST DEAD. An AFFECTED EXSERVICEMEN. The PUBLISHED PHONE NUMBERS OF CPPC CENTRAL BANK IS ALWAYS BUSY.
ReplyDeleteThrough reliable sources orop arrears has been transferred to Islamic state a/c . Now if you want your arrears either you knock the door of Bagdadi or get ready for beheading. God bless you.
DeleteIN CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA IT APPEARS CPPC WASTE. They have not learnt nor ready to learn the intellectual way do the other fellow bankers follow in disbursing pension. IT IS TRADITIONAL WAY OF CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA EVERYTHING PUT ON THE BRANCH WHO ARE UNFAMILIARISED AND BUSY WITH OTHER TASKS.ONE HAPPY NEWS THE BANKS ARE GOING TO BE CONSOLIDATED. It APPEARS BETTER HORROSCOPE NOT ONLY FOR INDIA BUT FOR EVERY CRYING SOUL.
ReplyDeleteSir, please clear the one rank one pension because in this heading army declared x, y, group how group came in this subject. All groups according there trades and get promotion ,services get pay as per group. After pension why this group variations the heading of orop, please explain .
ReplyDeleteI also have an account with CBI ,Knkaria branhch, Aihmedabad. Still the arrears has not been paid by the Bank .My account no 1069736261 . Bank HO Office of Ahmedabad says that calculation has not been done. Whereas State Bank of India has paid more than 78000 pensioners in the month of February 2016. Is CBI going to pay interest on late payment of arrears amount not paid to us? What is the solution. Why the matter not to be intimated to Central Defense Account, Allahabad and Ministry of Defence ?
ReplyDeleteI,think that the staff of central bank of India is not at all combatant as other banks.Their management also not capable of getting work done by their staff.Generally the performance of their staff is not up to mark as i noticed during many instances of paying defense pension arrears. They having a kind of grudge with army personal That is the reason they are not acting on govt order on OROP.sHAME ON THEM.

ReplyDeleteThe Central Bank of India it seems is playing with our patience. I hold a pension account with CBI Amwara Chawk Muzaffarpur branch despite repeated mails to cppc and numerous communication with the branch they have not yet paid the OROP arrears. The bank is also not disclosing as to why it has failed to disburse OROP arrears.

Hello everyone, I hold a pension account with Central Bank of India Amwara Chawk Muzaffarpur branch. I have not received my OROP arrears as well as enhanced pension as yet. Despite repeated emails to cppc central bank and numerous communications with the branch I haven't got any satisfactory reason as to why the bank has failed to disburse my dues. The cppc never replies to my emails. It is sad that the pensioners are harassed in this way.
