Subject: Non payment of OROP Pension
Dear Mr Banker,
I am a retired Sgt from IAF. I'm drawing my pension from your Dhanwada (116) branch, Dist Mahabubnagar, (TS). My revised pension on a/c of OROP in terms of Circular 555 (PCDA Allahabad) was to be credited on 29 Feb 2016. It's not yet been paid. Banks like Vijaya Bank, Punjab Sindh bank and BOI have paid even before 29th Feb.
I have given my personal details, PPO, Corr PPO, no.of years served, rank group and forwarded copies of PPO and Corr PPO etc. in my e-mail sent to you on 12 Dec 15, which was not even replied.
PCDA Allahabad circular 555 was sent to all CPPCs in 1st week of Feb 16. Even after a month, my arrears of revised OROP pension is not paid to me. These tables are also now attached (in my case Table No.7).
Can you please tell me why wasn't it done by Andhra Bank. I got normal pension on 26.2.2016. (Rs.6108/- basic pension). My OROP pension is Rs.7693/- (Basic pension) w.e.f. 1.7.2014, as per Govt orders and Table 7 of Cir 555, which is not yet revised by you so far.
Why are the military pensioners being treated like this. My earlier e-mail was also not replied, but the arrears (from 1.1.2006) were quitely deposited with Dec 15 pension.
Aren't you being paid each transaction?
Please let me have the email ID and mobile phone number of your CMD, so that I can also speak to him or take up the matter with him.

FATASTIC. Good throw on the bankers. Being post EXSERVICEMEN,and BANK EMPLOYEE, I'm ashamed of their attitude. Even i was willing to render OROP WORK WHICH THEY DENY.
ReplyDeleteDid you see the other article on CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA COMMENT BOX. One commentator has threatened the OROP pensioners showing the mighty of CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA. All because of THE GOVT WHICH DOES NOT CONTROL THE BANKERS.

ReplyDeleteMy father is also from IAF, having Pension account in SBI. He also not received the revised pension on this Feb 2016.
ReplyDeleteMy mother a family pension holder received her arrears the moment I sent mail to the MD. Her account is in United Bank Of India. I suggest you also send mail to the MD. CPPC wont give any proper reply.

ReplyDeleteI am also from IAF retired in 1988, Drawing pension from SBT. Not only SBT failed to pay OROP they failed to understand various PCDA circulars 471, 430 and 397 and in my case order from AFRO pension cell,pertaining to pre- 2006 pensioners as per 6th pay commission directing to pay as per the last rank held . Even the dealing officer in the CPPC Sbt is retired from IAF failed to compla the above circulars.
ReplyDeletePut across an Online grivance in PG portal.gov.in. My dad had retired in the year 1983 and PPO was not showing length of service. They have send the reply and the same was forwarded to the bank on 17 March. After that on 27 March I sent a mail straight to the MD of United Bank Of India and on 31 March she received her OROP arrears.

ReplyDeleteTapas Kumar Bhattacharya Ex SGT date of discharge 30/11/1998.Drawing my pension from Central Bank of India Burdwan(W.B.).Till date not yet received my Pre 2006 Pension arrears and OROP arrears also.Since two month I have sent email to higher authority and CM cppc Mumbai. Letter also sent by DAV Airforce Newdelhi in Feb 2016.But nothing workout .I personally also talked to Bank Mager.I do not know when I will get my dues.
ReplyDeleteSB Mandlik retired from IAF in JUN 2000 drawing pension from central bank of india also not yet got the OROP arrears, but here canara bank SBI friends got a month ago. What is this ? whereas all circulars for the paying autority has been despatche at the same time to all the disbursing banks.

If government has no control over banks why orop has been announced. Either government has no money or banks have disbursed to malya. Now he has left india. Let us forget orop.
ReplyDeleteI retired from Indian Navy as CPO in Jan84 after serving for 15 years.I draw my pension through Union Bank of India at Oppnakara Street Coimbatore.Till date my OROP arrears had not been paid that is in spite of visiting the bank so many times,and also sending a letter to their head office at Bombay.Nobody seems to be interested in taking any intiative in this regard.This is the way how this bank deals with an ex-serviceman like me and the pity is you cannot do anything about it.
