  1. Once every fortnight or so, keep repeating the highest priority this govt. has been giving to OROP issue for the last 11months or so and that it will continue to give it the priority for the next 11months and still next 11 months because ESM s are dumb fools.Very hardworking govt, because even after approval by Def ministry & Fin ministry, political approval by PMO /PM & funds estimates having been worked out by the accounts deptts, the hard work is likely to continue for many more months. ESMs, continue to await next bulletin of OROP issue being a priority for everyone in this govt. Good job , keep it up !!! Jai Hind

  3. The managers of NEXCC must discuss about the classification of X and Y in the case of JCOS/OR. If at all created, it will pave way for discrimination, primarily all combatants soldier, OROP is granted in recognition of soldierly life . tradesman category deserves all perks and allowances at par with other soldiers. I think some one might have misled the RM while briefing. very sensitive issue to be handled delicately

  4. Pls drop the idea of X GROUP AND Y GROUP AS AFTER RETIREMENT All soldiers Are same . If implemented there will Be huge difference between the two groups. O R O P means one rank one pension NOT one Rank two pension

    1. OROP is not exactly what you said. You just followed so called BABUS or secretarial staff. Let us be unite and honest. No one should be looser and that is only achievable if groups are considered while finalising the OROP apart from rank held and length of service

  5. Outcome of the meeting will be like this " DM listened our request and promised to implement OROP immediately. The OROP is in safe hand of DM. Nothing to worry".

  7. The DM has not yet studied the case of OROP and not understand the meaning of one rank one pension. That is why he agreed to sanction the OROP group wise. Sorry minister, that is not OROP that is OGOP which is not acceptable to JCOs/OR veterans. If the OGOP sanctioned the same will be challenged in the court of law. For this purpose all exservise orgs are requested to unite and fight till the sanction of OROP.

    1. OROP as envisaged from the beginning - I am talking about 1983 onwards - is Veterans with comparable service get same pension irrespective of date of retirement/discharge. That is how it is defined, claimed, recommended by Service Hqs and Parliamentary Committee and supposed to have been sanctioned. The difference in pension between X & Y groups will remain. But all Seps/Naiks/Havs and all ranks of X gp with same length of service will get the same pension irrespective of date of retirement. It is too late to change the very definition of the demand itself. All Veterans who hv bn in the forefront of this struggle know this.

    2. The meaning of OROP is well known to all Veteran organisations who hv bn spearheading the struggle for more than 3 decades. The DM also understands what is asked for by Veterans. Anybody can challenge anything in court of law but the court does not create law. The court only interprets an existing law. The law for pension is it is a function of the last pay drawn. OROP is something that cannot b won through courts. That is why people in the know of things hv bn lobbying for this all along, instead of taking legal route.

  8. Why has NEXCC / IESM not updated the ESM on the outcome of the meeting with DM till now ???? In addition to saving the DM are they worried to justify their own position . Chai aur biscuit pe charcha ke baad khaali haath wapas bhej diya hai kya ????

  9. Dear Veterns. If we challenge it in Court it will againtake 5 years. Hence it is bette r to accept. Rajmohan.

  10. NEXCC has not posted the outcome of their meeting with DM and not coummunicated what DM has told them in their meeting. It seems that NEXCC is self adervertising by posting the names and portfolios of persons who met DM. As far as I know this association has hardly any followers among veterans.

  11. OROP is a TOP secret document in the hand of DM. keep this document in the safe tejori, its disclosure is dangerous to the country because all esm are outsider from other country

  13. donot put hurdles, that X OR Y GROUP, first let the orop be out, otherwise it will take another 10 years to release , because govt decided,in what form orop to be made

  14. IESM , taking a cue from RG may go on a self introspection holidays to Jhumri Tallaya if not to fancy places in Thailand etc.because DM (and PM ) continues to take ESM for a nice ride. Was it right to suggest ESM should celebrate ?? But never say die, dear sirs. After introspection, decide on the next course of action and expose this Modi Govt. -- Nanga Karo Bilkul Nanga -- that their moto is no different from the previous governments -- Mar Jawan Mar Kisan - and on TOP PRIORITY. Sold out govt to BB Babus.!!!

  15. OROP is a very old demand & new comers to veteran's fora may not know what it means. It has always been veterans who held similar positions while in Service but with different date of retirement should get the same pension at any point in time irrespective of their dt of retirement. So among veteran pensioners also X & Y gp pensioners will be there even after implementation of OROP. That is how it has been demanded all these years by all veteran's fora. The DM has well understood all these. That is why he said he can satisfy only 80% not 100%. It has been more than 30 years in the coming. It is too late to question the meaning or to grumble against the now OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED definition of OROP

  18. For officers there is no Flying Allowence and no Medical Practicing AllowenCe after retairment and Hence oRoP is right. for them. But for PBORWhy This X and Y group. That means for PBOR One group one Pension. This is injustice.
