  1. Very profound delineation of this glorious experience of a veteran soldier in course of his tour of this great country of great people. We the Indians has discarded those gentle manly conduct. These Americans are indeed praiseworthy for their sincere and gentlemanly behavior. May the people grow in stature... let Indians see how a great nation respect the veterans !!

    1. Sir,
I was too board out of service in the year 2002 but due to domestic problems I was unable to reply the Arty Records letter with 6 months period about my disability. I thought that I shall later take up the case. But due to financial problems I am unable to take up the case with the appropriate authority. Please suggest proper way and easy method so that I am benefited for the disability and board out pension. I had submitted my willingness certificate during my service tenure while board out.

Sir, Can anyone tell about arrears as per Supreme Court verdict on the anomaly of 6th Pay Commission is being paid to Hony Lt/Capt who retired after 01/01/2006 from their date of retirement to 24/09/2012 or otherwise.

  5. HONY CAPT AJAY KUMAR
    Respected Sir/Madam,
I would also like to know why the arrears is not being paid to Hony Lt/Capt who retired after 01.01.2006 to 23.09.2012 whereas arrears paid to Hony Lt/Capt who retired prior to 01.01.2006. Say in other words those retired prior to 01.01.2006 will get enhanced rate of pension i.e. 15465/- (Lt) and 16145 (Capt) but those retired after 01.01.2006 are getting wef 24.09.2012. The matter is require due consideration.
    Thanks.

  6. Dear Hony Capt Avtar Singh and Hony Capt Ajay Kumar sahaban,

You are entitled the pension as mentioned above from 01-01-2006 or from the date of retirement to 23-09-2012 since you are alredy getting it from 24-09-2012.One important point should be kept in mind that since you people were retired after 2006, your pension sanctioned might be more than the amount mentioned in your comment. If so, you will not get any arrears, since you were already getting excess than the amount of pension mentioned by you. Instead of posting your comments/doubts here, please confirm from your District Soldier Board or from your colleagues.

  7. Dear Sir/Madam,
I will explain you through an example-
An Hony Lt who retired from service on 31 Dec 2005 is getting Rs 15465 wef 01 Jan 2006(Arrears given from this date) where as a Hony Lt who retired just after one day i.e. 01 Jan 2006 is getting the same pension wef 24 Sep 2012 (arrears given from this date). Now let me know is it justice with the armed forces PBORS who retired from service in between 01 Jan 2006 to 30 Sep 2008. If needed I can quote PCDAs circulars in this regards. We hope that you will consider this matter.
    Thanks

    Respected Subra Sir,
I, do not understand your contention that your pension sanctioned might be more than the amount mentioned. I want to clarify that after implemntation of 6th Pay Commission pension of pre 01/01/2016 retiree Hony Lt was fixed Rs 13500/ pm and I retired on 01/09/2016 and my pension was also fixed Rs 13500/ pm. But due some anomaly in the 6th pay commission the pension of pre & post 01/01/2006 retirees was revised to 15465/ pm wef 24/09/2012. But after implementation of The SC verdict pre 01/01/2006 Hony Lt pension was revised Rs 15465/- wef 01/01/2006 i.e. implentation date of 6th PC whereas post 01/01/2006 retirees were paid nothing from their date of retirement to 23/09/2012. May I reuest you to clarify if the Hony Lt/Capt who retired after 01/01/2006 are not entitled for arrears from their date of retirement to 23/09/2012. With regards.

    Respected Sir
I am also not benifited with 6th cpc i was retired as a honyLt on 30 apr 2007 and granted pension wef 01 may 2007 @rs 14230 instead of rs 15465.sir past 2006 ret hony pension revised as per pcda circular no 506 with 24 sep 2012 it means it is less rs 1235 pm . Compare to pre2006 ret hony Lt because pre ret hony awarded wef 01 jan 2006.as per pcda circular 547 .pre 2006 ret hony Lt are benifited with 6th cpc but past 2006 hony capt / Lt are not benifited wef 01 jan 2006 to 23 sep 2012. Sir as per 6th cpc supposed to hony Lt pay should be fixed as pay of 5th cpc × 1.86= basic pay which is 10500×1.86=19530 + Gp 5400+ msp 6000= 30930 and 50% of this is rs 15465 is a pension but in my case my pay is fixed as rs bp 17060+gp 5400+msp 6000= 28460 and 50% of rs 14230 as a pension so we are not benifited with 6 th cpc .pcda has given answert that govt order is only for pre 2006 ret not for past 2006. It is not justify that pre ret are getting more pension than past 2006 ret hony capt/Lt.wef 01 jan 2006 to 23 sep 2012.
Should we go to court only for this are any other way to get financial benifits of 6 th cpc because it is not considered our pay as leave encashment, gratuit and commutation . Pl suggest a point how i will get my financial benifits for this i have file a rti and requet to our record office even a reqest to pension adalat at allahbad 22 aug 2016. But not yet received any reply.

I retireed from Army Corps of Signals on 01 Sep 2006 and my pension was fixed Rs 13500 pm from my date of retirement. The same was revised to Rs 15465 pm wef 24/09/2012 due to some anomaly noticed in 6th pay commission. However, Supreme Court in its verdict ruled that the anomaly notices at later date in 6th pay commission to be paid from 01 Jan 2006 on case filed by pre 01 Jan 2006. The same has been implemented for the pre 01 Jan 2006 and post 01 Jan 2006 retirees have been left in lurk. On approaching PCDA pension Allahabad they replied that they have received the instructions to pay the arrears to pre 01 Jan 2006 retirees and no instruction have been received for post 01 Jan 2006 which is an injustice to post 01 Jan 2006 retirees and now PCDA has issued 568 circular for delinking 33 year service for pre 01 Jan 2006 retirees according to which Hony Lt pension is to be fixed to Rs 15465 pm i.e. 50 percent of Rs 30930 fitment. Whereas post 01 Jan 2006 retirees Hony Lt pension was fixed to Rs 13500 pm 50 PERCENTAGEof Rs 27000. May I request you to confirm if post 01 Jan 2006 retiree Hony. Lt/Capt are entitled for revision of their pension from their date of retirement to 23/09/2016 or otherwise for our next course of action to get ratify this issue.

  19. Hony Sub Major Mahipalsingh I was serving in Indian Army and retired from Army on 01 Oct 2015 I was not given the benefits of OROP and the cut off date of OROP you told 01 Jul 2014 is not understood whereas the new pay commission is applicable to them who retired after 01 Jan 2016 they will get the benefit of 7th CPC. What is the fault of the person who retired between 01Aug 2014 to 31Dec 2015 who neither did not get the benefit of OROP nor of 7th CPC.

  20. Sir,
I am one of the Veteran recently retired from Navy, My RMB(Release Medical Board) has been completed in the month of Sep 17 with 30% disability and Attributable to service. Presently Board is calling me and asking to sign the revised RMB (backdated) for following reasons as the RMB returned from higher authority:
    (a) As my operation was undertaken in the month of Jul 17, sufficient time has to be given for injury to settle down.(however, specialist is of the opinion and gave me S3A2 Pmt lifelong).
    (b) The Injury report has been raised after 08 months with remarks as Attributable to Service but Board has amended the same in Revised RMB as "Attributability be decided by Pension Sanctioning Authority".
Now what should i do? Please guide me so that I can claim my disability pension...

  22. Sir, I was invalidedout from IAF on 26.8.1965 and am in receipt of Dis.Pension since then.My actual service was for 10 yrs and 344 days but was granted pension for a Qualifying Service of 10.5 yrs as the then existed pension regulations. The Regulation was revised subsequently vide Para 2 & 3 of GOI MOD letter ID No.B/38076/AG/PS-4(a)/2190/A/D(Pension/Services) dt.6.8.1984. PCDA(P) denies the benefit quoting their Group Order No.13 Dt.12.9.1983 which is with reference to GOI Min.of Home Affairs, Deptt.of Personnel & A.R. OM No.28(15)/83-Pen dated 28.6.1983 on the provision of sub-rule(3) of Rule 49 of the CCS(Pension)Rules,1972 not concerned to Armed Forces Personnel. In the garb of clarification, the PCDA(P)have issued a Circular No.512/26.6.2013 in infringement of the the said MOD Order dated 6.8.1984, almost after 30 yrs due
to my insisting the benefit w.e.f. 28.6.1983 to revise my Q.S. as 11 yrs and pension accordingly.
Please advise the correctness of my interpretation of the MOD order and my claim for the benefit w.e.f.28.6.1983
