People use the term" Ex" with their ranks.
It is their own choice.
There is no existing instruction asking anyone to use this term.
The existing policy on the subject is that we may all use the Rank with our names
The Ranks are all earned by us with our blood and sweat.
Are awarded to us by the Supreme Commander of the Defense Forces. We shall all pass away into the history with our last ranks held. Unless, of course, if the Rank was lost on disciplinary grounds.
"Ranks do not retire. The people do".
Today we are all Veterans!!!
Please write the term Veteran with your name.
Examples:-
Veteran Air Marshal XXX,
Veteran Sgt XXX,
You may, alternatively, use the term Veteran at the end of your name. eg.
Sgt XXX, Veteran.
Let's all be proud of ourselves and all our achieved Ranks.
