GRIEVANCES OF PERSONNEL

The Hon’ble Supreme Court vide its order dated 15.11.2010 has directed the Central Government to set up a Commission, named the Armed Forces Grievances Redressed Commission to address the grievances of both serving and retired armed forces personnel. The matter is presently under examination.

This information was given by Defence Minister Shri AK Antony in a written reply to Shri SS Ramasubba and Shri Asaduddin Owaisi in Lok Sabha today.

  1. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi Notification published in Employment News of 11-17 Nov 2017. As per Notification, the vacancies of non teaching posts earmarked for EX Servicemen Category are:

    Catering Asst : 00(Zero) out of 15 fifteen vacancies,
    LDC/Store Keeper : 03(Three) out of 41 vacancies
    Lab Asst : 00(Zero) out of 08 vacancies.
    Total 03(Three) vacancies are reserved out of 64 vacancies of Group C/D ,which stands at less than 04.68 % reserved for ESM (Ex Servicemen)

    Also total vacancies pan India earmarked for ESM as below:

    Catering Asst : 02 out of 61 vacancies,
    LDC/Store Keeper : 27 out of 440 vacancies
    Lab Asst : 06 out of 77 vacancies.
    Total 35(Thirty Five) vacancies are reserved out of 578 vacancies of Group C/D ,which stands at less than 06 % reserved for ESM (Ex Servicemen)

    Lower Divisional Clerk(LDC) at NVS HQ/ROs: 0 (Zero) vacancy is reserved out of Ten Vacancies.
