I as a Veteran officer voted for BJP and today I find that your Government is as bad as the Government in 1962, when we the armed forces got a bloody nose and lost hundreds of soldiers and officers. Have u read history PM Sir?
Do u know that this Denial mode to our Veterans and their legitimate demands will cause more harm in the days to come . U r sending a message to people of India not to join armed forces. Sad indeed Modiji.
Modiji : u served tea. We served the nation. The difference is that we Veterans are at the mercy of a Chai seller who has no love for us Veterans, but your own self.

I am short service commissioned officer who gave my best part of life i.e. about 10 years to the service of nation. In return I do not get anything from Govt except canteen facility.

From 75% armed forces pension is reduced to 50 %. Further it is reduced to 25% by saying full
ReplyDeletePension entitlement is 33 years and prorated for us because 90% retired compulsorily after
15 years since nation wants young and healthy Armed Forces.
Now I am afraid if this phenomenon continues :
1. No sensible youngster joins Forces.
2. Active forces will sympathise since they are also beneficiaries.
3. May be that they will actively participate for the cause of OROP.
4. Morale and Motivation of both Veterans and Active Forces is likely to degenerate.
Silence is gold but not always.
It should not lead to a catastrophe to national security.
