    Brig Vidyasagar, very commendable job and I hope the PBOR veterans do not think that there is no one in the officer cadre looking after their interest as I have read in some chat rolls. Vets must know there are lot of things done by officer cadre that go unnoticed but it is to the benefit of all veterans

      This arrears chart shows a sizable amount as arrears where as very low amount like 7000/- for a Seargent Y group with 15 years service is being paid stating that it is as per the circular 547/548 the chart says a sizable amount of Rs.1,09,111/- is to mbe paid to the sgt with 15 years.I being a ex JWOP with 18 years service Gp I the chart says Rs.68,662/- but till date nothing come through.Where as for Hony ranks and the Officers Ranks were paid five figure amount as per the chart.Now where we go with this to complain

      We do not have to go any where just draft a proper letter and handover to your concern bank. with copy to CPPC of the particular bank.     This is correct only for Hon Commissioned officers. For pbor's pension sanctioed wef 01-07-09 is based on maximum of 5th cpc pay scale to the fitment table of 6cpc.Pension sactioned wef 23-09-12 for pbor's up to Hav rank is based on increased weightage of service.These are not covered by apex court verdict. pension increase wef 01-01-06 is based on minimum of the fitment table and table is provided in the circular. pbor's are due arrears up to 30-06-09 only,as they are getting pension based on the maximum of the fitment table there after.Family pensioners are due arrears up to 23-09-12 as they did not get increase wef 01-08-09 , difference of amount given in circular and actually paid.Please reconcile

      Your interpretation of the apex court order ensuing benifits thereafter in r/o JCOs/ORs seems correct and advocated by Major Navdeep Sahab who himself is associated with this case right from the begining .

    As per pcda circular547 Basic pension of sepoy x group 15 years service wef 01-01-06 is Rs4637/- .He was drawing Rs 4035 up to 30-06-09. arrears due will be Rs27713/- including DR.(602+DR) per month.Wef 01-07-09 he was drawing Rs 5368/- ,there for no arrears due.He will continue drawing RsRs 5368/- till 23-09-12 and thereafter Rs5961/-. IESM is requested to verify correctness before publishing such an arrears chart.ALL pbor's except Hon- commissioned officers are due arrears only up to 30-06-09. Publisher has taken circular 548 as guide line and did not read circular 547 completely.

    Ref Your Table Displayed on Web site 02/10/2015, Is the payment of arrears W.E.F 01/01/2006 to 30/06/2009 or 23 Sept. 2012 is in accordance with the fitment of July 09/Sept.12 is difference 01/01/2006-01/07/2009/24/09/2012 w.e.f. 01/01/2006 to the date of payment of enhanced rate or any clarification required in accordance the line second last/last of Para 4 of circular 547 as however where revised pension w.e.f. 01/07/2009 and 24/12/2012 is higher be treated as basic pension/ family pension from 01/07/2009 and 24/09/2012 respectably

    Reference Brig Vidyasagar’s Arrears Table wef 01 Jan 2006 to 23 Sep 2012.
    As per this Table that the amount of basic pension shown wef 01 Jan 2006 is different from the PCDA circular 430. But the figure shown in Brig Vidyasagar’s Table wef 01 Jan 2006 is the correct one. But most of the PBOR have been paid as per cir 430 which is comparatively lesser than Brig Vidyasagar’s Table.
    For example a group X Naib Subedhar basic pension for 23 years service as per cir 430 wef 1.1.2006 is Rs.7462 and this was the basic pension actually paid from 1.1.2006 to 30 Jun 2009. Whereas the figure shown for the said example in the table of Brig Vidyasagar is 7950. Hence the arrears shown for the difference of amount (9767 – 7950 = 1817) for the period from 1.1.2006 to 30.6.2009 is Rs. 83,618.
    But the actual arrears should be (9767 – 7462{cir 430} = 2305) for the period from 11.2006 to 30.6.2009 Rs.106,076.

    Who is making every one fool , kindly tell me name of that baxxxxd not taking out orders on supreame court OA 655/2010 , NOT GIVING JCO, NCO, ORs their full due rights ie 50% of our scales at present with out considering no. of years served, once for rest all civilians as well as our officers are given full pension, whether they served 28 years or less, equal pensions to every one except PBORs soldiers, sailors and airmen and why the orders can not be out first for us military persons than civilians, why constitution of india not followed 14, 16 & 21 and also once earlier there was no promotions / times scales like today since 1996, hence those retired before 1996 CPC, WHY THEY CAN NOT BE GIVEN MINIMUM HAVILDAR PENSION TO SEPOY, NEXT TO NEXT RANK & SO ON BY DOING INJUSTICE OVER INJUSTICE WITH THEM, DO YOU WANT 1857 TYPE KRANTI IN INDIA, I FEEL YESBUT REMEMBER THIS TIME ALL TOP POST PERSONS ARE GOING TO BE KILLED, NOT LIKE IN THOSE DAYS OF GADAR JAY HIND JAY SRI KRISHAN KRIPA BERSE SABHI PAR Thanking you once again, apply mind & do justice with all

    Dear sir,why GOI,MOD and Pcda issuing such these type of letters and circulars (547)? As per GOI,MOD letter dated 03 Sep 2015 and PCDA circular No. 547 there is no gain or loss to the ex servicemen then why such type of letters/circulation are being issued by these authority. Is in future there should not be a single order/circulation for all category ( commissioned officer, jcos, ors and defence pensioners) to avoid this type of mistake. Thank You.

    I am unable to understand as to how the table prepared for the Ranks wef 01.01.06 for example Gp Y Hav for 16.5 years as admissible and confirmed by the PCDA is as under :- 1.1.06 Rs. 3816/- 1.7.09 Rs. 4938/- and wef 24.9.12 Rs. 5647/-remaining (+ -) figs are alright. But considering Circular 547 it would arrive at 13806/- for a gp y havildar of 16.5 years.

    Brig Sahab made a lot of effort to prepare the table of arrears for jcos and or but all in vain without amendment of circular 547 as the circular 548. In this circular the language is very clear arrears wef 01.01.2006 to 23.09.2012 on the basic pension fixed on 24.09.2012, but in the circular 547, they made BIRBAL KI KHICHARI.

    As per circular 547/549 table prepared by Brig Sahib is 100 percent correct, but the pdas are unable to understand the mixed language mention in the circular. There are many annexures, dates and other critical languages like wef 01.01.2006, 01.07.2009, 24.09.2012, as per annexure, as per circular 501, as per circular 430, upto 30.06.2009 what is correct. The simple and correct language like circular 548 ie arrears should be carried out wef 01.01.2006 to 23.09.2012 on the basis of circular 501 pension fixed.

    Arrears received by Ex-Sgt X Group 20 years of service Rs.99243/- has been given wef 01.8.2009 to 23.09.2012 not wef 01.01.2006 to 23.09.2012, therefore according to circular 547 the arrears is applicable wef 01.08.2009, as they are fooling the jcos/or.

    I am Ex-Sgt V S Rao Group III. I got on Rs 25552 as arrears from Syn Bank.They have taken a diff of Rs 4186(as per circular 547) and 3633 as on 1.1.2006. The table for Air Force personnel vide circle is totally wrong. It shown AC of group X with 15 years of service is getting more than SGT of group III. is is justified ?. I think we should take-up with Def Min or Court.

What I understood from PCDA Circular No. 547 is that I am entitled for arrears of pension from 1-1-2006 upto 30-6-2009 i.e. for 42 months only. From 1-7-2009 my BP has already crossed the BP mentioned in the Table annexed to the above circular of PCDA. The difference in the BP for my rank, Gp and Service is only Rs.159/-. So the arrears is to be calculated for 42 months x 159 plus the DR as applicable ( for first 6 months no DR, next 6 months 2 %, next 6 months 6%, next 6 months 9 %, 12%, 19%, 22% and so on. How is that some people got nearly a lakh rupees? Can any one clarify ?

    Everybody is in confusion to get arrears as per circular 547, it has clearly mentioned in the last para of circular that arrears shall be if any given wef 01.01.2006 on the basis of circular 501 upto 23.09.2012. Ye malum nahi arrears kab milega

    The language of circular 547 is very clear that no arrears for pbor except 2 to 3 thousands, only the above pbor who have approached to court are getting 3 to 4 lakhs arrears as per circular 548.

    What ever calculations done above are base less. The circular 547 indicated the actual amount of basic pension to be taken when compared the actual figured as per 6th pay commission. As per the new orders, the arrears for a sgt of Gp X 15 yeras works out to be only 27887/- Ex Sgt Sreenivasa H J from Mysore

    Miss-Leading in understanding of Circular 547 dtd 9 Sep 2015.
    Dear Sir / Madam,
    1. Refer is made to abovementioned Circular of your office.
    2. As per this circular our Ex-Service man are not able to understand what their basic pay should be as on 01/01/2006, 01/07/2009 and 24/09/2012 as per their length of service.
    3. The meaning of the circular is different from men to men.
    4. Seeing to the above fact, is it possible for the office to issue simplified letter with corresponding revised pension table which will clarify what amount of basic pay an individual is authorized? Taking Circular 430 dtd. 10/03/2010 as a reference of guideline.
    5. With this, Pension paying offices will also simply understand and pay the difference of arrears if any immediately.

    My name is rakesh. Actually i want to know about arrear scheme for pre 2006 retired servicemen. My grandfather was retired from army on 1984. And he was received all benefit from government. But he was dead last year and his bank account closed.
    Before a few days i get a information that government allow for arrear to all army ex servicemen under pre 2006 scheme. Now i want to know that is my grandfather eligible for this scheme. And if yes than how we receive money. Because bank account of my grandfather is closed now. And my father is nominee of my grandfather. So please tell me about this matter.

    sir,i am jwo of x group with 26 yrs of total service and getting sofar basic pension Rs,10813/-retired on 31/1/1991. I got as pre 2006 arrears only Rs.16290/- through dpdo chd ,but asd per your chart I should have got Rs.184624/-.so I don't understand why this much less is paid to me?

    ABe, Sir, U R correct. Some Officer think about PBOR not all . Gen. Satvir Singh & Capt Gandhi are example as they fighting for Hony. Naib Sub Pension as Naib sub because this Rank by President due to full service in 'A' grade and 'Examlary' for full tenure not seniority. Thanks Brigadier. Pl u also fight for Hony.     Sir,i have served in the corps of EME and took pre mature retirement in the year 1992 after completion of 24 years service as subedar of A group. I was drawing a sum of rs 11517 as monthly pension,and as per new OROP my pension will be rs 11615,the difference is rs 98 only per month.I hope justice has not been done to us. pl suggest

    I accept that there are Officers who care for men but if it was genuinely catered and look after there won't been so much of gap in salaries of men and officers we are still in the age of Britishers and not coming up. Our Men are also of the nature "Sahab sahi hain" try study read understand and put your words, today each and everything is available on-line we have to take pain and demand, Always only crying baby gets the milk.
