  1. Soldiers are an exception. Mr Modi had probably meant political leaders and bureaucracy who run the show .

  2. This tweet is also a trap for those sitting on HS at Jantar Mantar Delhi. The politicians are not brainy but they are cunning so their action will have a negative reaction. The problem with this Govt none of the Ministers in the cabinet is capable enough to take a firm decesion. Even if they take a decesion it cannot have buerocratic support. If no buerocrats support the decesion it will not have political approval. The buerocratic system has so badly eroded our democratic set up, today nothing moves in the Govt offices unless the proposal initiated and recommended by buerocrats. The OROP is not initiated and recommend by Buerocrats thus it is not getting cleared. We must be thankful to Pakistan, China and their sponcered terrorist group for forcing our Govt to atleast throw some bones to Indian troops so that they are alive. Otherwise these politicians would have disbanded the defense services and replaced by police Forces. Mr Nehru wanted things in that way but it wasn't materialised due to certain good sense prevailed in the Indian National Congress that time.why politicians favours police personnel rather than Army because police will do what ever the politicians want. They can mint money with the support of police but it was not possible with Defence forces. So the politicians never wanted to upgrade the Defense Forces on contrary when ever they got chances defense forces were degraded to supress them mentaly and physically. So the present generation Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force are all very big psycophant who do not follow the military ethos and teachings but work for themself. They are the biggest obstacle in the way of progress in the Defence Services. This situation can not be continued indefenitely otherwise in case of war these so called Chiefs would become casualties with the hands of their men and our history will be rewritten. JAI HIND

  3. Dear sir,

The inexperienced, immature and irresponsible PM NARENDRA MODI must activate his own mind and should not fall prey to the illogic lecture of his cabinet minister viz parikar without date arun jaitley anti ex army man, from a soldier to general all categories whether retired or in service personnel all are hating you because your inertness and indecisiveness in military history of india your period as PM is dark days, but we maintain our discipline and dignity and duty this is my country though legitimate accepted demand of OROP is not implemented we will never indulge in unnecessary activity

  4. Modi govt is full publicity signifying nothing, latest being skill development.Let him develop himself before he develops the country. For this ,if he can join a personality development course, that will be better for him and the people.

  5. Mr Modi, now threw a piece of bones to the retired defence personnel to shut their mouth up for some time. If he wants to prove himself honest towards the defence personnel and loyal to the country why he is not giving orders to his ministers to issue the notification on orop immediately instead of yweetering. Because we the Armed Forces believe in doing and not in saying.
