Amitabh Bachchan says that the jawaans at the borders are the true keepers of the soceity but a lot of us barely credit them for their contribution to the country.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says soldiers, who risk their lives to protect our land, are merely acknowledged for their efforts. The 72-year-old actor posted on his blog that jawaans are true keepers of the society. "Jawaans are the ones that fight at our borders, that protect our land that give us the privilege of peaceful slumber at night. They are the true keepers of the land, they sacrifice and we merely acknowledge them."
The Piku star said people must dedicate their prayers and thoughts to the jawaans who are inspirational. "We draw inspiration from them. We salute them and salute our Motherland to have produced such valiant fighters, not just in the way of might and strength, but in their acts of leaving behind a story that encapsulates all that society must believe in, must obey, much teach. Their valour despite the fact of being outnumbered, their will to engage till the last breathe, and not move an inch from the oppressor. These are the men that we dedicate our prayers and thoughts to." he wrote.
