OROP CANT HAVE ANNUAL PENSION REVISION - SAYS FM ARUN JAITLEY

NEW DELHI: Finance minister Arun Jaitley on Monday virtually ruled out annual revision of pension as demanded by agitating ex-servicemen under "one rank, one pension" but said the government will safeguard interests of soldiers retiring at an early age through higher pensions  .  Annul revision in pensions do not happen anywhere in the world, he said. 1. dear sirs,

When he dismisses the annual increment of pensioners by quoting the foreign country formula, is he ready to approve the concession extended by the other country to their soldiers in term of employment and handsome pensions pay out, he is very much interested in revenging the ex soldier by delaying tactics and procrastination attitude very sad performance he does not like ex army people

  3. The beneficial ways of the other countries and even those that existed here itself are conveniently forgotten and solutions are thrown in bits and pieces as doing favour to soldiers as if they are beggars. Be graceful and announce the package accepting what is your arithmetic. Let the nation know what the Babus have allowed you to concede and throw the ball openly and stop playing games.

  4. the whole nuisance on orop has been deliberately created by the babus sitting in mod and also to some extent by vth and vith pay commission. upto iv th cpc the defence personnel were granted pension @ 50% of the maximum of the scale. this was changed after v th cpc. why? because some formula has to be created to reduce the pension of armed forces personnel. e.g. i retired in the scale of 1700-50-2600 in the year 1991.at the time of retirement i was drawing basic salary of rs 2200 only but my pension was sanctioned @rs 1300 p.m. just 50% of max of the scale i.e. 2600. all members of the pay commission should know that the armed forces are governed by the army act and their generals too reside in tents during war and also during calamities unlike their civilian counterparts who stays in hotels @ Rs 7500 per day and claiming rs 500 for 150 ml of milk as happened in kedarnath disaster in uttarakhand. i would also draw attention of F.M. to explain what is nfu(non functional upgradation) and why it is created when there is a provision for stagnation increment. considering all above why there is a hue and cry for orop. this must be immediately be approved without any if and buts.

  5. the ho-halla on orop is deliberately created by babus in mod/fin ministry. if not , than why the previous system of granting pension @ 50% of the maximum of the scale has been removed after vth cpc. the only reason was to ascribe a procedure to reduce the pensionary and other benefits to the armed forces.e.g. I retired in 1991 in the scale of 1700-50-2600 and was granted pension rs 1300 p.m. whereas my last salary was rs 2200 only. these babus and cpc members must know that we are govrerned by army act and our general rank officers reside in tents during war and also calamities unlike their civilian counterparts who stays in hotel @ 7500 per day and claiming rs 500 for 150 ml of milk. this happened in kedarnath disaster in uttarkhand. next , whart is nfu(Non functional upgradation). why it is created when there is a rule for stagnation increment. it is not appliocable to armed forces .will the h'ble F.M. explain?

  6. Adding to my above points, I may accept the great knowledge of Mr Jaitley that in no foreign countries, the pensions are revised every year but will he share his great knowledge to the ignorant or rather stupids like me...
    1. In which all countries the elected representatives are the sole decision makers of their remunerations, pensions, benefits with no questions entertained???
2.In which all countries the financial packages to constituent states can be announced at the whims and fancies of PM at election rallies???
3.In which all countries the loss making units like airlines and hotels are allowed to do business just for the benefits of elected representatives.
    4. In which all countries the PM's promise made at identical places as Rewari, Aksai-Chin, A warship and in parliament openly challenged by their FM and still their PM keeps mum.
    5. In which all countries, the FM will not bother to answer the above and expect to be voted back to power for 5/10/15 years or more????
Man ki baat likh raha hoon , jawab ki umeed nahi hai.......

  7. Are our jawans paid at world standard? Then why do u compare the demand alone. First pay all the soldiers at global standards and then compare world level. While comparing all elements to be at same units.
