DON’T WASTE YOUR LIVES FOR AN INDIFFERENT NATION

DON’T WASTE YOUR LIVES FOR AN INDIFFERENT NATION
RUN BY SLIMY BABUS, NETAS AND COPS.

(In the aftermath of the disgraceful police action on military veterans on 14 Aug 15)

The Safety, Honour And Welfare Of Your Country Comes First, Always And Every time.

Of course it does, but you don’t have to take on other people’s work just because they are inept and corrupt. Saving people from floods and other disasters is not your job. There are over-paid scoundrels in the civil services and police who are supposed to do it. The funds earmarked for such relief work is meticulously divided amongst themselves, while you share your meager rations with the disaster afflicted.

If a child falls in a bore-well, don’t get all worked up about it. Your country doesn’t care about you one way or the other. If a few Jihadis with weapons and bombs sneak in through the Line of Control, it shouldn’t agitate you. Keeping them on the other side is the job of the fattened BSF, commanded at the higher levels by corrupt cops of the IPS who have never fired in anger or been fired at.

Don’t go around shooting your own countrymen just because they are insurgents. That’s not your job. Let the CRPF and the motley lot of other central and state policemen do it. They are highly paid and very well equipped and if they cannot or will not do their job, so be it. Let the netas, babus and cops who started the alienation in the first place sort it out between themselves. You do not come into the picture here. Don’t make enemies of your own countrymen while the babus and cops play goody-goody. When war comes, these rats will scuttle away. You will need the help of your countrymen to fight the enemy.

Do only what you are supposed to do – train for war and win it when it comes. In the meantime, live it up. Everyone else is.

  2. You couldn't have said it better but let it be published in the main line media for the nation to know how the jawans feel today.

  4. The Babus think and treat the committed volunteer Indian Jawans joining the defense services out of love for the nation by choice as nothing more than overseas mercenaries who are paid for fighting on contract. Contacted time over -- tum kaun me kaun. As if these jawans are paid a fortune like the mercenaries and used accordingly. The Jawans are used anywhere, anytime and for anything in addition to facing the bullets for the Babus amongst others but are paid like peons. True they joined as volunteer for love of the country and by choice even after the desired physical, mental and academic tests as per the need, they have basic needs and aspirations to give safe, secure and good future for their children and for their own old age. Why should he not be treated with higher pay and benefits, more respect and care than accorded to an equivalent Babu since he does all that an equally placed civilian but works in far greater tough environments and is always on a Godly notice of one bullet. Why should he not get more than a Babu and here he is getting less than him and he is being accused of being unreasonable.
The nation - if it continues to treat the volunteer Jawans as badly as of now - should be prepared to hire the overseas or Indian paid mercenaries to man its armed forces in not too distant future as the volunteer Jawans would not exist to join the defense services.
Mr PM and FM may as well ask their Babus to calculate the consequences and arithmetical cost of such a situation since they are already on the job of arithmetical calculation of OROP.

  10. We(veterans) are the true patriots. When we were in uniforms,we had no civil rights except food.We did not apply for casual leave sitting at family quarters.Every day our brave Jawans in the border are getting killed, just to make the life of these clever politicians and crooked BABUS to sit and enjoy the life in air conditioned rooms..As you said, after retirement, they are employed in low paid chowkidar jobs, although they are capable of doing much more than any other civilians counter part.Let us fight it out UNITEDLY now, or we will not see the light.
