  2. It happens, when politicians are always close their eyes, ears and mouth in front of Babus for making to run a better administration. Without Babus, politicians feel running the India's Administration is difficult, that's what Mr. GE head envisaged yesterday.

  3. THE TERM VRS DOES NOT EXIST IN DICTIONARY OF MILITARY SERVICE. I FEEL PITY FOR OUR HON. DEFENCE MINISTER FOR UTTERING SUCH NON-EXISTENT WORD , UNDERSTANDABLY BY COHESION BY THE BABUS. PROBABLY HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUTIOUS FOR USING A WORD WHICH NEVER CAME UP FOR DISCUSSION. I UNDERSTAND THE EMBARESSMENT HE FACED SUBSEQUENTLY. WAS HE BRAVE ENOUGH TO PUNISH THE CONCERNED BABU FOR THE PAIN HE CAUSED.

  4. Veterans are fighting Battle of their Lifetime. It is now or never.

Round 1 is just over. Modi Govt has taken substantial tactical advantage over the protesting veterans. Even the Media is now singing tune of this dictatorial Govt , who claims in a shameless manner that OROP has been implemented and is now projecting veterans as adamant and greedy.

B’crats have succeeded in their nefarious design and attempts to dilute the implementation of OROP and even introduced a surprise element of exclusion of a class of veterans from ambit of OROP. The intended unilateral implementation methodology, wherein goal posts have been shifted at every stage, strikes at the very concept of OROP. Total lack of transparency on fixation of base pension of various ranks on the basis of average pension in calendar year 2013 is in clear contravention to the very definition of OROP. Diluted OROP will be a big setback to the prolonged efforts of veteran community. Presence of three Chiefs as show boys of the Govt at the press briefing, adds insult to the injury.

Round 2 will commence upon notification of actual Implementation Order, which may yield further shocks.

Withdrawal of Fast unto Death was correct and a well timed decision. Present protests may continue till Implementation Order sees the light of day. Nothing may come out by engaging with the Govt. New strategies will have to be planned to counter the deviations from OROP as approved in the Parliament. Thrust should be on exposing cost of the benefits being enjoyed by the B’cracy and other Central Services, Parliamentarians, Judiciary and Para Military Forces.

Judicial route may be the only route available to the veterans. Supreme Court has already set the precedent in their judgment in respect of Major Generals.

  7. dear sir,
this is sensitive document in the matter of OROP read out by mr parrikar, how it occurred a clause VRS I do not accept it is inadvertent or careless inclusion, it is premeditated, calculated with an evil design to spread rumours and sensationalism and played with sentiments of fasting veterans, it is a sin for that parikkar has to pay and serve sentence in the hell. first you order a probe by whom and at whose instance that unnecessary clause has found in the place
