The outcome of discussion is to be transparent and candid and in all openness it should be known to all. The chiefs should disclose and list out which agenda RM is seized of , something seems to fishy and fallout is likely to be cryptic

whether any welfare measure of other ranks was raised and accepted ,the reply cannot be mouth sore tasted or mango

  10. Sensible retreat to save his skin. The Air Chief Marshall ejected himself faster than his takeoff. His action saved the nation of an imminent constitutional crisis. But the troops have to get satisfied with diluted 7CPC award. A clean let off by the senior most Chief.

  11. Surrender? In my opinion it is most wise statement. "RM is seized of all the issues ( in circulation for the last 15 days and must have been read all of us) and has assured to resolve them at the earliest". It no where speaks of implementation of 7 PC in present form, on the contrary it speaks of assurance of early resolution.
What else we expected chief to say?

  14. Unfortunate situation taken care of by the COSC on behalf of all the Chiefs, swallowing their pride, despite being right and correct, all in the national interest. Other alternative was nothing but RESIGNATION, the serious implications of which were appreciated by the COSC and the other Chiefs.
Shame and curse be on all the concerned egoistic politicians and babus who can't see beyond themselves. The soldiers will never get fair play.THE END.
