SOME DAMAGE CONTROL ON THE 7TH CPC? : PARRIKAR MEETS SERVICE CHIEFS, ASSURES TO RESOLVE ALL ISSUES AT THE EARLIEST

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Wednesday met the Service Chiefs and the members of the Armed Forces Pay Commission Cell to discuss the anomalies in the 7th Pay Commission of the Armed Forces.

Parrikar was briefed of all the issues and assured to resolve them at the earliest, to which the services expressed satisfaction at his response.

Earlier, overruling service chiefs, Parrikar has asked them to implement the 7th Pay Commission without any delay.

Meanwhile, a committee has been formed to look into various pay related anomalies arising out of the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission's recommendations.

  1. Why these drama and show by the chiefs? DM has already instructed the chiefs to issue instructions: anomalies will be looked aftet subsequently. Same is happening now.

A great act of maturity, statesmanship and generosity by the service chiefs, though do not think the DM and Govt deserved it,as their conduct was truly disgraceful.But, if this Govt once again treats it as a JUMALA,all service should resign without any notice to the Govt.Hope, God,gives the Govt some sense and they can discharge their function honestly.If,the Fauj fails-this country is doomed.
