  17. My honest salute to YOUR GREAT WORK. I guess the arrears calculated refer the sum total (exclusive of applicable DA arrears from time to time from 01-01-2006 till 30-06-2014). From 01-07-2014 the OROP scales are implemented & are being paid in total 4 stages out of which 2 stages are already paid.
Kindly clarify for the benefit of larges masses of EX Servicmen fraternity.

  18. Great effort to facilitate individual veterans to calculate their dues legitimate dues.
    Good,good ,very good & fine.
The Govt has ultimately prevailed over babus to issue out executive orders ,after dragging and delaying for over 6 months ,after civil service employees incl those in ordnance factories.
Individuals ( incl me) & veteran associations do feel the Govt has done good for esm .thus expression of thanks & appreciation from one and all to Govt of the day.
The clarity of the issue & matter :-
1.This has come, because of judicial orders ,consequent to the case of shri Arasu in CAT and subsequently upheld by supreme court - after so many appeals by govt.mily got because civilians have taken DL-33,- 50% of pay as pension on retirement without reduction factor for less than max ser of 33 yrs.
2.Neither any fauji nor any veteran associations took any initiative. Thus it is a eye opener for all faujis. Now at last, faujis are thinking of their legitimate rights of pay & pension ,with changing times facilitated by internet & communications.now there is some army pay research cell to look into these as evident from disability pension at slab rates to mily instead % age basis to civil ser (better).
3.with this, those small one time increments given after 6 cpc (given out after court cases and agitations)in 2008 ,2012...etc got absorbed and thus it was " no big deal or initiative ".
4.intellectuals and experienced may further analyse on matters of mgp ,min of pay in pb ,loss of value to mily over civil due to loss /dispensation of weightage factor of yrs of ser hither to available to mily.
**Think ,think - don't stagnate.keep up with the world ,trends & practices in the country .Do derive/take legitimate by legitimate approaches & methods ,after giving the best to safeguard and defend the country ,people at great sacrifices of mily.
Once again many thanks to Govt & to all those who facilitated these arrears to faujis.

  27. Mr Haridas Sharma, how can you say that this calculation is totally wrong. It is right although it is not given for all groups and for service uptown 28 years and above. If you know better than this you may post the mistakes and give correct calculation.

  30. Dear Veterans, Before making arguments we should understand the fact. The difference between cir547 and the pension of 6th CPC we already availed as arrears few months back as per a court order. Now what we are getting arrear is the difference between MGP and cir547, cir430 and cir501.In most cases the revision of24-09-2012 exceeds cir501. In such cases no arrear for that period. Now these are the differences of basic pension. For calculating the DA there is a formula. That is multiply the difference with 46.02 up to30-6-09 and multiply the difference from 1-7-09 to23-9-2012 with 57.62.That will be your arrear. From 2012 onwards our pension was more than cir 501 and hence no arrear. Now you can calculate yourself.

    1. Dear Sir,In my case it is equal shown in the above given chart.

      Delete
  32. Those who are having less service their pension will be less than cir 501. Such cases the diff should be calculated with 39.76. The total of these three amount will be the arrears.
